Got an original pressing of kind of blue by miles davis. Below first cover uk release on fontana. Some 1959 stereo pressings had the title kind of blue occupying one line only on both sides like in the promo. I assume these are the earlier 1959 pressings others had side a with the title on two lines while side b has it on one line but the track listing sequence corrected like the one pictured on this page while others have both.

The opportunity arose to put this conventional wisdom to the test with two different british pressings of the classic kind of blue. It is conventional wisdom that earlier pressings are closer to the source and should sound better. 33 1 3 r p m instead of 33 1 3 and different font. And new to vinyl i would say new again after coming back from my collection in the 80 s.
